This post is for the influx of new people in my office who are brand new to fertility.  You may be starting to notice that the fertility world comes with its own unique language and terminology. Let's break down some of the most common acronyms and terms related to fertility, shall we?

2. OPK - Ovulation Predictor Kit
3. BBT - Basal Body Temperature
4. LH - Luteinizing Hormone
5. HPT - Home Pregnancy Test
6. DPO - Days Past Ovulation
7. AF - Aunt Flo (menstruation)
8. EWCM - Egg White Cervical Mucus
9. IUI - Intrauterine Insemination
10. IVF - In Vitro Fertilization
11. FSH - Follicle Stimulating Hormone
12. LH Surge - Luteinizing Hormone Surge
13. HCG - Human Chorionic Gonadotropin
14. HSG - Hysterosalpingogram
15. FET - Frozen Embryo Transfer
